Book/Article connections
My topic is on captalism. I believe the hobbit shows a good example of capitalism. In the hobbit it seems like there isn't any form of government in the city Dale. There is a government aspect though. In a capitalist government the people get money from there own work. In dale they all work and work. The city is all gold miners and merchants. By being a miner they have all the gold. One of the key parts in the story is the greed for the gold back. All of the gold plays a key part in the hobbit. Without it they wouldn't be as motivated to get the gold. All that they worked for was taken from them so that made them want it. This is a good example of capitalism because it tells how they worked very hard, got they pay off, but then they got it taken, This made them want it back. They wanted to get there hard earned money back. The article and book connect because they tell how the people work for there own profit. This is how the article and book connect with capitalism.
